Feature request
Which Nextcloud Version are you currently using: 29.0.0
Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
I would like to generate Talk links/conversations directly inside Thunderbird (calendar -> new event).
I think this also drastically increases the usability and acceptance of Nextcloud (Talk), since this is a simple and nice alternative to Microsoft Teams appointments inside Outlook.
Describe the solution you'd like
Thunderbird Extension with the following features:
Button inside Thunderbird's event edit view:
button text: Create new Nextcloud Talk link
button icon: the Nextcloud icon
clicking on the button creates a new Nextcloud Talk conversation, makes it accessible via a public link, and inserts the respective link into the event description
Settings inside the extension options:
Server URL
user name
app token or password
Password protection: generate individual password for each conversation / one password for all conversations / no password
enably lobby: yes / no
set a meeting start time: yes / no
Describe alternatives you've considered
Create a new event in Nextcloud -> Create a talk room for this event. However, this breaks the normal workflow.
Additional context
Thanks for Nextcloud, it is awesome!
