Rich Text Editor: Input field for hyperlinks clears its input at seemingly random intervals. #1240

Steps to reproduce

  1. In the Notes settings, set view mode to "Rich Text Mode".
  2. Create a new Note.
  3. Type some text that will server as the anchor of a hyperlink.
  4. Mark that text by double-clicking on it.
  5. Click on the "Insert Link" Icon in the tool bar.
  6. Type or copy a hyperlink URL into the input field "Link to Website".

Expected behaviour

The URL should be accepted as it is typed and then serve as the target of the hyperlink.

Actual behaviour

At seemingly random intervals, the input text is erased, frustrating the attempt to create the hyperlink
