In #605 we proposed linking to Looker explores for each Glean application, but the higher-level Looker dashboards may also be relevant to data practitioners at Mozilla.

The Glean Dictionary might be a more useful tool for discovering these dashboards (and also facilitates linkages with other lower-level information related to them). This discussion especially given that this is an area under active discussion / development with the (internal) MAP project.

The most logical place to put a list of these dashboards would probably be under the app-specific view (e.g. https://dictionary.telemetry.mozilla.org/apps/fenix):

Some questions in terms of requirements:

  • Which dashboards should we display? Just the "official" ones under "Mozilla Metrics"? Or others as well?
  • What metadata do we want to show about them? The name and description obviously, but anything else? View counts?
