Is this possible to integrate https://github.com/elmarco/cbindgen/tree/master to upstream?

Maybe? Not opposed to this in principle. Would be worth opening a PR and taking it from there.

I do not know Rust, so, I do not know whether I will be able to make a PR here, but I will try.
