neat, in under 30 minutes, I was able to review 150 PRs, and cherry-pick them in. Main lesson is that most merge conflicts are because of commits in upstream/docs that were made after the reset to upstream/master on 1.3.0 release, and were out of order. - in this case, the early ones I just --abort- as irrelevant, and the ones at the end were due to the new 1.16 API doc, which getsgit rm'd`.
