That looks like an environment and executable path mismatch. Two solutions:

  • Either try to run hash -r to reset the paths to executable such as mkdocs, cached by Bash.
  • Make sure to run mkdocs from the right virtual environment, by activating it and then calling mkdocs with python -m mkdocs.
