Can I configure what file is run when I click on the little run triangle icon in the top right of the python source file window

In a program with multiple .py files, I need a quick way to run my main.py if it's not what I am currently editing. There is configuration for what file to launch for a debug session:

But even though that icon says "run and debug", it only debugs. If I look to this icon:

It seems to run the current file and not my main.py.

There is "run without debugging" which uses your debug configuration.

For the Run button, there's a feature request.

That’s a command on the command palette. But as far as the triangle “run” button on the top right of the edit window, is that “configurable”? I mean the button is there already.
