This document outlines our focused tasks for TypeScript 4.6. It minimally indicates intent to investigate tasks or contribute to an implementation. Nothing is set in stone, but we will strive to complete these tasks in a reasonable timeframe.

iirc support for Nodes package exports was planned for TypeScript 4.5 but it did not happen/work out... any plan to add it to 4.6?

@jaydenseric we're committed to shipping this as soon as it's ready; ideally 4.6, but the possibility of a further slip is always present

Typically the npm release has a corresponding TypeScript release with the same tag. Why is there no "TypeScript 4.6 Beta Release" under https://github.com/microsoft/TypeScript/releases?

Definitely not part of 4.6, but we're going to aim for 4.7.

No, not yet. I predict Monday we'll try to publish, but typescript@4.6.2-insiders.20220225 is out if you need something now. It will be effectively the same as 4.6.2.
