The Jupyter Lab PIP package didn't update since August 6th, 2020, and is still at version 3.0. I saw the Jupyter Lab version was discontinued on SandDance version 4.0.

I am excited to continue using the updated version of SandDance in the VSCode Python Jupyter notebooks. Could create a simplified package to render Pandas data frames using updated SandDance?

Hi @ndgayan , the original widget was a contribution by a community member, since we don't have that expertise.
Unfortunately, it became unmaintainable as it aged due to security updates.

We are happy to take a PR if anyone wants to create an updated version :)
