IDE errors with "Failed to update the mirrord binary..." even though auto-update is disabled.

Bug Description

I disable the auto-update checkbox, and set the mirrord version to be something really high (which is how I built mirrord) like this:

And after restarting intellij (in extension debug mode), I'm getting the error:

I expected intellij to just use my local mirrord (from which mirrord), where the version matches.
