Proposal

I've searched about how to set day hours from the gantt diagram, but I did not find any solution. I'd love to change the default value which is 24 hours by day to some custom value due to the work hours used by me It's not 24 hours.

Example

Maybe use some exclude value or initial value to set all work hours days.

It would be great if the gantt chart could e set to use 8h a day for example to reflect a work day. I also don't work 24h a day.

Is there any progress on this topic?

Hey, I'm starting to look at this. Can I just check I understand the requirement.

In effect, this is for when you are defining task lengths in hours. e.g. task a - start date of 11/03/2024 and a duration of 35 hours. Currently, that would default to being spread over 1 day and 11 hours, but in effect, you want to split the task duration across only the working hours input. Let's say you choose 8 hour working days you would want task A to have an effective duration of 4.4 days?

if i understand correctly that means you would also like to input the average daily working hours and reuse the functionality which selects working days in a week?
