Cannot drag/drop fields in the 'column' select in 5.x (Firefox Browser)

What browsers are you seeing the problem on?

Firefox 125 (Mac)
-- works in Chrome

What happened?

1. Go to 'Reports' and click 'New'
2. Go to the 'data' tab, and select some columns
3. Try changing the order of the columns by dragging them up/down

How can we reproduce this issue?

Should be able to drag the columns without deselecting them

Hi there, I've just tried to reproduce this on the 5.x branch but I am not getting the same results as you:

Which version are you using, specifically?

Also have you tried:

1. Clear your cache
2. Regenerate your CSS/JS assets using bin/console m:a:g

Thanks for the quick response! I realised I should have specified my browser – it's Firefox 125 on Mac. I tried with Chrome and it works, so it appears to be a FF issue I've updated the bug report to reflect this.

Can you point me to what code actually controls this multi-select, and I can try to debug. I spent hours just now trying to find the actual javascript that controls it but hit a brick wall.

I can confirm that this bug has existed since version 4. It would be great to fix this for Firefox/Gecko users.
