Omit HTMLElement Properties within the createComponent Function (@lit-labs/react)

When creating React components from my lit components, the createComponent function's returned element types extend all HTMLElement properties. This makes it somewhat difficult to integrate the components, as the type hints offer hundreds of properties, making it difficult to find my custom properties (the ones I actually need).
The source code already points out this problem with the comment:

// TODO: we might need to omit more properties from HTMLElement than just
