Prize Title

Lido OpenDefi Hackathon

Prize Bounty

Total prize pool of 10000 LDO (ERC20):
3000 LDO for the first place
2000 LDO for the second place
1000 LDO for the third place
Two 750 LDO prizes for the 4-5 places
Five 500 LDO prizes for the 6-10 places

Challenge Description

Hackers should focus on creating the projects that fascilitate usage of the liquid staking tokens and derivatives across the DeFi ecosystem, and anything making the space more connected and composable!

The general focus areas for Open DeFi hackathon are:

Liquidity — New token primitives, asset wrapping and interoperability
Asset management — new ideas and models for yield-generating assets
Governance — new models for managing DAOs, treasury management ideas and effective tamper-proof voting systems

We would like to keep things open-ended, so anything related to DeFi, liquid staking and Lido could be submitted.

Submission Requirements

  1. The project needs to be open-source and released on GitHub for us to review the entire source.
  2. The project needs to include a demo.
  3. The submission must contain instructions for running the code in the README.md
  4. The application must be USEFUL and/or INTERESTING.

Judging Criteria

The winner would be chosen between the submissions with working PoC demo made by the deadline. Assessment criteria are:

  1. Interesting idea
  2. Working prototype & demo

Winner Announcement Date

Winners will be announced at the conclusion of Open-Defi hackathon.

8) dodecane has started work.

The Occultix protocol enables the tokenization of the future yield of Lido stETH tokens.
It provides highly flexible instant loans on stETH that repay themselves over time. The synthetic protocol token ocstETH is backed by future stETH yield. There are no liquidations, and the only debt is time.
9) masaun has started work.

This is a smart contract that can utilize Lido's stETH as a yield source of PoolTogether.
