gem install sinatra stops half way through installation

When I try to install the SInatra, it starts installing the packages, and halfway when it gets to "Installing ri documentation for sinatra-2.0.8.1", it freezes and nothing happens, I have waited for almost-10 to 15 minutes, refreshed, switched wifi connections, nothing happened. I also asked someone else and he had a same issue.

I think it's going to depend on your computer. Mine stalled for about 5 min and finally finished. I also saw this while I was googling about my stall [(https://github.com/sinatra/sinatra/issues/1578)]
