Done Condition (What do we need? Why do we need it? Keep this is small as possible!)

We verify that when graphite is unavailable, the backup persistence cache will provide the data needed to restart oncotree.org

Technical Description (How are we going to achieve the above)

refinement of this card would help

Potential Issues

We might discover that the persistence cache backup is no longer working in production now. If so ... do not fix it. Make a card instead.
