I'm seeing the message:
You need local access to create the initial admin user
even though the admin user WAS created and works if I manually navigate to the console. I think this is a regression in 19.0.2 and was not a problem in 19.0.1. Anyone else notice this?I'm running in a Docker container and mapping port 8080 to 8081. I'm using
start-dev --hostname localhost --hostname-port=8081
. It's just an inconvenience as again, you can manually navigate to http://localhost:8081/admin/master/console/#/. If I docker exec into the container I can confirm the KEYCLOAK_ADMIN and KEYCLOAK_ADMIN_PASSWORD environment variables are set and thedocker logs keycloak
command shows that Keycloak set the admin user:Most convincingly, if I rollback my docker-compose from
image: quay.io/keycloak/keycloak:19.0.2
back toimage: quay.io/keycloak/keycloak:19.0.1
the problem goes away.Beta Was this translation helpful? Give feedback.
