Problem

The "Release Checklist" added to the contributing guide has a "Verify docs" item. This should be expanded into its own checklist of things to look at for the documentation.

DoD

Separate checklist that lists doc items to check before release

Ideas for the pre-release checklist

  • auto generated API docs links need to be updated if new API versions will be released
