having a bad time getting packaged visit and hdfview #2020

So reading

- If fpm is not helping you make packages easily, then there is a bug in fpm.
- If you are having a bad time with fpm, then there is a bug in fpm.

asks me to write this issue.

What were the commands to build .debs and what errors did you get? Please be more specific.
