It looks like your terminal does not support bracketed paste.
You can disable that using lineReader.unsetOpt(LineReader.Option.BRACKETED_PASTE).
What kind of terminal are you using ?

Linux, lineReader.unsetOpt(LineReader.Option.BRACKETED_PASTE) it does not work for me.

Are you using a pipe / redirection or something like that ? The first characters are \E[?1h\E= and directly comes from the smkx configuration in your infocmp, so the terminal should definitely supports it.
