Suggestion

Currently, artwork page is very unpleasant to the eyes and is too long in desktop view and specifically in mobile view, because there is no pagination for the artwork. And it's very bad experience for the user to scroll throughout the page to use the last section of the page, as we have 3D models section in artwork page.

So, I am proposing the idea to

  • Insert pagination in the artwork page.
  • Change artwork card and make it formatted, so it looks like in the proper grid as our blogs page.
  • Showing the designer details of the artwork properly in the card.

I like the idea very much of paginating and using the card layout from the blog posts.

Thanks, @MarkEWaite. I have started working on this. It will be great if other maintainers also provide their views and suggestions on the same.

I don't have a very strong opinion about this, but do you have a mock-up of the final outcome for us to see what to expect?

Hey @krisstern, Sorry for this, but right now I don't have a final mockup to show, but I am working on it and I will show you the results once it's ready to see.

On the topic of Artwork page wouldn't it be awesome to have the Main Jenkins logo svg or the logos mostly used as the first thing on the page.
Some thing like this (Dev Tools)

Its just a thought i had when i was trying to find the main logo of Jenkins. I had to scroll through the page since many logos look identical. I would like to know what the maintainers think about this idea ?

That's the great idea @Vandit1604, I was also thinking of the same while creating this page.

I'm interested in contributing to this, can anyone please tell me where I can find the code of this page?

Thanks for your desire to contribute! At the bottom of most pages on www.jenkins.io there is a hyperlink, "Improve this page". That will take you to the source code for the page. In this case, the link opens to https://github.com/jenkins-infra/jenkins.io/edit/master/content/artwork/index.html.haml
