[ci.jenkins.io] Unable to log in randomly

Summary

Since today (07 May 2024) at 11h15 am UTC, users trying to log-in on ci.jenkins.io with their Jenkins LDAP account were greeted by an error stack with a Timeout or Connection Refused`, ~50% of the time.

Update: the root cause is jenkins-infra/azure-net#233 (part of #3954) which added a new public IP for ci.jenkins.io agents and controller.

This IP is not allowed in our LDAP.

Fixed by jenkins-infra/kubernetes-management#5217, confirmed by @MarkEWaite and myself on separate connections.
