I created a playlist with over 1,400 items. When I shuffle the list apparently plays, but no matter where I play, or cast it (Mac, iPhone, FireTV), there is no obvious way to view or reorder list of upcoming or previously played items. There's even an "add to play queue" command where it should be (screenshot 2 attached), but no indication that it actually works.

An internet search suggested that I should be able to use the "hamburger" menu on Fire TV to access the queue, but attempts to do so only open the upper portion of info overlay (photo 1 attached). That was unsuccessful, so I decided to create my own play queue. I theorized that I might have had too many items in my main playlist so I created a smaller playlist named "Play Queue." (Photo 3)

THEN THE PLAY QUEUE APPEARED!! (Photo 4). Only problem now is NOTHING MAKES IT ACTUALLY PLAY!! There is a "goto Now playing" item on the menu that does nothing. (Photo 5).

System (please complete the following information):

  • iOS Version: iOS 17.4 (21E5195e) [beta]
  • Jellyfin Expo version: ????? (what does this mean?)
  • Jellyfin Server version: 10.8.13

To Reproduce

  1. Create a playlist
  2. Populate it with multiple items
  3. Shuffle playlist
  4. Search in vain for queue of upcoming items.

Expected behavior
I expected some sort of modifiable list to appear, that I can order, edit and reorder queued items at will.
