Hello Javassist team.

The Javassist 3.24.0 release no longer runs on JDK7 (some comments in #226). The pom.xml compiler source/target jumped from 1.6/1.6 (in 3.23.1) to 1.8/1.8 (in 3.24.0) dropping runtime compatibility with both JDK6 and JDK7 in a single point release.

Can the compiler source/target revert to 1.7/1.7 (to restore runtime compatibility with JDK 7) until source code changes no longer permit this ?
