Combining auditlog with eav2

I am already using the excellent django-eav2 project (by jazzband) in a project, and would like to add django-auditlog. These two don't combine out-of-the-box, it seems. When I create a new object for an EAV-model, this is logged:

I am not sure if this comes my setup, or from the fact that these two projects are not compatible. If I change, add or delete eav-settings on this model, they aren't seen or logged by the auditlog logc.

Could you shed some light on this? Is there a way to nicely log changes in the EAV-model?
