Describe the bug

Detox has some implicit dependencies -- python and applesimutils. When you run Detox tests and don't have those installed, it fails with semi-obscure errors. Let's make that experience better.

Also it's real annoying to get Python2.7 installed these days, I was going to upgrade the download script to work for that or Python3.
