The first time I ran this, I was able to get my wife's pictures from her iCloud without any issues. She has a mac and an iPhone and they had no problem receiving the 2-factor code. However, each time I run it for my iCloud, it never sends the 2-factor code to my phone. The only difference I can see is that I do not have any apple products that I am signed-in to. I only have my Samsung phone number setup for the 2-factor. Other than this, I always get the code sent via text. Any ideas how I can get this working?

Thank you.

Also having this issue, or one similar to this. I am normally able to get pictures without problem. Occasionally my iPhone even recognizes icloudpd attempting to connect and presents a 2FA code, but I don't even have to enter it to proceed with downloading pictures. Today, icloudpd is presenting a prompt asking for a 2FA code but I am not receiving one on my iPhone.

I'm not sure on what OS your using it on, but it's also been reported in #752. I had the same issue, but now for me it works again (don't know for how long). In my case, from SSH terminal on my Synology NAS I ran /var/services/homes/username/icloudpd-venv/bin/icloud --username "my@username" --llist and weirdly enough now I did get a MFA prompt after authentication...
Perhaps it's a coincidence, maybe the MFA token got purged (don't know if that's a thing here), maybe it's something else. Hope this works for you too @kevinandchristin and @lonestarr-007 (at least as a workaround).
