[Bug]: Can't connect to my account

What happened?

I can't connect to my GitHub account with desktop version on Ubuntu 22.04 via AppImage from https://github.com/httpie/desktop/releases/tag/v2024.1.2

Steps to reproduce?

1. Install with .AppImage
2. Launch the desktop app
3. Click to "Login with GitHub" and "Continue with GitHub"
4. Redirected to the web and to the desktop app and... nothing.

What did you expect to happen?

Redirected to the desktop app and be logged.

Can you see if there are some errors in the DevTools console? You can open DevTools via Ctrl–Alt–i.

No errors in the console, I had already checked before publishing this issue. :c

I'm having this issue too on ubuntu 23.10..
Actually the browser says this: Prevented navigation to “pie://auth?ey...” due to an unknown protocol.

Same here. Try it with chrome and firefox. I run the appimage by make ir executable and doble click.
Also i select the .Appimage as the default app for this links without any change.

I also experienced this in LMDE 6, especially for appImage, it seems like the app need an In-App Browser to log in, because if use another browser you can't go back to httpie because it's not registered in the system
