The README contains only the obscure

There are just a few changed lines, see patch.js for details

This must be a joke, these "a few lines" (150+) are unreadable.

Can someone add a bulleted list of (at least some) improvements this extension introduces?

I was thinking about using diff format to distribute the patch via patch package, as well as to "display" the patch needed - see #22
