Add image carousels

When there are a lot of images I want to include in a post without it getting unwieldy, it would be nice to be able to put them into a carousel. The kind that does not rotate on its own. Here is a tutorial that could help us get started.

It's also important to make sure that CKEditor handles this properly. A new plugin, probably borrowing a lot from image2, that handled collecting the images into a carousel would be nice. It's important, even without considering how much easier it would make creating carousels, because otherwise, CKEditor destroys any special markup you use.
