To my understanding, Roboto Flex supports weights 100-1000 when using the variable font. However, it doesn't seem to support those weights with static files (except for weight 400). Querying with the CSS API using an older user-agent returns an empty response and the Developer API only returns variants: ["regular"] indicating it doesn't support any other weights with static files.
