I'm a little confused: flatbuffers has version 2.0.8 as released version but when I install it on my pc only version 2.0.7 appears.

Just to clarify: can I install like this?
pip uninstall flatbuffers
pip install flatbuffers

After that the version is 2.0.7. Shouldn't it be 2.0.8?

A Pull request #7547 is already there for a new version system.

We don't automatically release to each language package manager. This is currently done in a manual fashion for each language after a release.

https://pypi.org/project/flatbuffers/ is not at 22.9.24. We can close this issue now. :D
