It would be nice to see a Jaeger tracer interface. If this isn't already in the works (I searched but didn't see anything), I could attempt a PR.

Note that Open tracing (the standard used by Jaeger) and OpenCensus are being merged into one project (OpenTelemetry). OpenCensus takes a different approach and makes trace collection tracer independent.

It might make sense to wait for OpenTelemetry instead.
