django integration: filtering transactions by user staff / url param

Problem Statement

I'm trying to give more chances for our team and PM's to enable trace/profile dynamically on production, for that I'd need to check if the path has a url param, and for extra safety I want to check if the user us authenticated and staff.

Solution Brainstorm

I tried to use the trace_sampler function, but I couldn't find a way to access the request so I can't know if the user us authenticated and staff, the url param seems easy, is there a way to do it? I see that maybe I can do it inside before_send, but that will spend time doing the work and drop it at end.

Do you guys have any suggestions on how to archive that?
