• Issue # 5457: [docs]: Carlton cutting instructions remarks #5457 Is this something that we want to address by editing the documentation? If so, what should we say? If not, can we close this issue, perhaps as Will Not Fix?

February 3, 2024 Notes

• First time making Simon. Made test garments and now ready to sew final garment.
• Embroidery: dragonfly, dinosaurs. Ready to make Opal shortalls.
• Mending socks.
• Flatlock, overlock, sergers.
• Issue [docs]: Carlton cutting instructions remarks #5457. It was agreed to add a comment to the instructions saying that an alternate opinion is to not cut canvas nett and instead to trim the seam allowance after sewing. It was agreed to ignore the remainder of the enhancement request about the lapel part, with a note saying that if anyone wishes to pursue it further then they should provide suggested wording and re-open the issue.
• There is a need for instructions for Carlton, Carlita, and Jaeger to be written. But, they are "full-on tailoring projects" that are difficult.
• Making a Motley jester jacket, commedia dell'arte.
• Dressforms.
• Trying to refashion dresses.
• Croissant-making and croissoli (croissant/cannoli hybrid).
