There's a couple of improvments to make to https://jam.coop/payout_detail/new

  • Artists seem to get confused that all EUR-zone countries are lumped under Europe. We should add the EUR-zone members to the list (but have the value be the same as "europe")
  • Some Wise destinations have a minimum transfer amount (e.g. Brazil). We should find out what those are and make a note to warn the artists that we can't pay them until they've made over a certain amount in sales.

Would it make more sense to record a currency instead of / in addition to the country? I guess the tax rate might depend on the country...?

I think both might be useful - you can send USD to countries other than the USA for example (but the fees are much higher). I'm not sure what you mean by tax rate here?

I had just assumed the reason you'd decided to capture the country was something to do with the sales/VAT tax rate, but thinking about it a bit more, presumably that's more related to the country of the buyers rather than the sellers...?

Ah - it's actually to do with Wise. We need to know the artists country when we make a payout to them.
