https://plugins.gradle.org/plugin/io.freefair.lombok

On the Lombok Plugin site, it shows the release candidate as the latest version.

Can this be updated so that RCs don't show up as latest release? It makes it very hard to check if we are on the latest version since these always show up.

I think 6.5.1 should show up, not 6.6-rc1 as latest, similar to how other plugins/dependencies work.

As far as I know, the Gradle Plugin Portal cant differentiate between pre-releases and GA releases.

I guess I would question how others are doing this without publishing pre-release versions.

For instance SpringBoot doesn't have any pre-release versions:

Seems like they just don't publish them to the Gradle Plugin Portal (or maven Central), but only to https://repo.spring.io/milestone
