The current list of flags is extensive - part of what makes fortio useful. But digging through the list can be hard.

It may be helpful if they are grouped by catagory somehow instead of alphabetically?

Do you mean in the readme / docs or in tool? one thing I have been considering is some swagger style for the rest api but it could also be similar "construct your cli options" UI maybe.

Also note that in fortiotel a bunch of defaults are changed to be more likely to be correct (e.g -uniform and -nocatchup etc are on)

I mean in the --help mostly. usually I find myself either looking for a flag I forgot, or typing the flags wrong. In that case I end up with a wall of flags which can be tricky. Good to know about fortiotel!

I use fortio help | grep -C2 a bit too often myself as well.
