When compiling name table using FontTools, I noticed the following:
When I use linked styles (e.g. 400 and 700), if nameID 4 is equal to nameID 6, Windows Font Viewer doesn't show version string for all four linked styles (Regular, Italic, Bold, Bold Italic).
If nameID 4 is different from nameID 6, version is showed.
