Terrible default user interface

The interface is terrible like mixing Russian and Korean and Japanese despite I am mainly using Japanese.

FontForge Version: I don't know how to check. I downloaded from official FontForge page and installed today.
OS: macOS Ventura 13.6.6

Looks quite unusual, gettext normally doesn't have fallbacks other than the base language (English in the case of FontForge).

What is your list of preferred languages (in System Preferences / Language & Region)?

It seems

1. Japanese
2. Russian
3. Korean

I removed Russian and Korean (I cannot read both) from the list then it works with only Japanese and English. Thanks. Is there a setting I can choose only English for interfaces?
