Please add a changelog

Thank you for this package, my enterprise company relies upon it through some dependencies. However, the lack of a changelog or any context is a concerning security risk. Our security team appreciates people updating packages and knowing what the changes are and a git tag diff is not very readable.

Any information about version changes would be very appreciated!

@dakotahp I would encourage you to consider contributing a changelog for the past couple versions if this is important to you and your company. Open source is a community effort, and is often done on a volunteer basis!

Maybe I'm missing something, but how is someone else supposed to add a changelog for changes someone else made? Sure, I could show the code that was changed or something, but that doesn't tell anyone why the change was made.

A changelog would be appreciated.
