This is part of a CNCF-wide effort to upgrade project websites to GA4 since Google has deprecated Universal Analytics (UA). For more details, see:

  • Cleanup: there are still traces in the main site pages of the old GTM ID. Those scripts should be removed.

@fujimotos @ashie - do you know if Fluentd websites are hosted on Netlify? If so, do you have access to the Netlify account, and can you grant me access as well?

As far as I know, the official site is running on Heroku. It was set up
(at least) 5 years ago, and I don't have any access to that account.

Thanks for that background information @fujimotos.
Do you have access to the analytics for the docs? (I have access to the main site's analytics property, but not the ones setup for the docs.)

I don't have access to that account too.
We update the site via CircleCI in usual.
The account is owned by Treasure Data, @toru-takahashi has the access.

No, I don't have it.
The repository of docs.fluent.org is here: https://github.com/fluent/fluentd-docs-gitbook

@chalin Hi, sorry for delay in my repsponse.
I've checked the ga ID. But, it is not owned by Treasure Data.
As the following commit said, we have migrated the Google Analytics Tag scripts from
the one used by Treasure Data to CNCF before.

Could you check who own the ga id?

Thanks for getting back to me @toru-takahashi. We're all set for the main website. My questions now pertain to the docs subdomain:

I'll comment further in that issue.
