Add Extensions to Flatpak

Hi

I'm currently trying to compile a OS for Maker-spaces, and looking to script the build as much as I can to get a reliable environment.

I would like to use Inkscape Flatpak alongside Mightyscape 1.2 and InkStitch

Is there a recommended way to install extensions for the Flatpak version of Inkscape, Or, is it possible to build a flatpak plugin/extension that can integrate into this package. Similar to this https://blog.tingping.se/2018/03/18/flatpaking-plugins.html
Any advise on where to look, or even where to ask for help, is greatly appreciated.

Not exactly a discussion, It was a specific request for another plugin, and had had no response in 3 years.
I was hoping a different Plugin would be able to be a different issue, and also hoping that there would be some more knowledge in the area in regards to either making a second Flatpak containing plugins was an option, or baking a new Flatpak with Plugins combined.

If anyone can advise a good place for reading material, I'm happy to collaborate back into the main repo.

Unfortunately the linked issue (2nd time) also provides no way to resolve the issue posted here. Just another user looking for a way to add a Flatpak overlay to be able to add functionality to the core flatpak, without baking the extension into the main flatpak.

What is needed to progress this or #68, which was opened in 2020 with no response?
