Do I have use schema and validation when I use VineJS ?

Hello,

I want to use VineJS for validation but I only found this example:
https://github.com/vinejs/vinejs-example-fastify/tree/main/src

but in this example they dont use schema and response json. So what is the best way to use VineJS and if I use it like the example above then I shouldnt use the regular schema at the middleware ?
