I am considering adding the following to the commerce module

Brands. e.g. Nike, Addidas, Apple, Samsung
Vendors. e.g. Amazon, Dollar General, Walmart, Target

I would put this together and submit a pull request when I'm done. I just wanted to check that a) this didn't already exist and I just didn't find it and b) that this seemed like a good idea.
