We haven't considered it. I'm not very familiar with Kong but this project required quite a bit of custom code I'm not even sure it's suitable as a plugin. Will look in to it though.

@sinzone Kong looks quite promising tbh. We'll probably have to investigate it a bit more, but the first step would be to clean up the hackathon code base, as it became messy in certain aspects. We also need to make the idea horizontally scalable, which we didn't have the time to finish during the Gala.

I've seen somewhere on the Kong website that it uses Lua for the plugins. Is that a hard requirement, or can other languages be also embedded as plugins (thinking about Go now).
