Would it be possible to allow Route to handle a callable instance the same as a function?

Hi,
I am currently developing a declarative DI framework that i want to integrate with starlette. My problem right now is, that starlettes Route class treats my InjectedCallable objects (which are objects with call implemented) as Endpoints. Would it be possible to check for callable() instead of inspect.isfunction() and inspect.ismethod() in the constructor of Route?
