It reportedly works, we should test with it and likely deprecate yarn 1 support.

FYI, Yarn v4 is coming (soon) as well it seems: https://yarnpkg.com/

ye, I accidentally was using it for a while, cause my volta decided alpha was a good version of yarn to install. 🙃

Is Yarn 3 officially supported by Volta yet? If not, that may be a blocker for many teams who will need to stay on Yarn 1 (which is supported by Volta).
