The rubyzip gem included in LS <= 7.14.0 is 1.3.0, which includes a test sample zip file that virus scanners do not like.

Logstash should test and update to rubyzip version >= 2.0 ... only logstash-core depends on Zip.

turns out we can upgrade until JRuby 9.3 (Ruby 2.5 compat) is released as 2.0.0 requires Ruby >= 2.4.

@kares we are having this issue with 7.16.3. Has this been resolved in later versions?

can not be resolved until LS upgrades to JRuby 9.3 -> expected to happen somewhere along the 8.x line (8.3 or later)
