The IIS Filebeat module supports default and a few custom logging formats. This is included in the ingest pipeline over the time. The documentation hasn't been update which currently states that the module supports only the default W3C format. This needs to be fixed.

  • The supported logging format currently is W3C which is correct.
  • But the default W3C format needs to be updated with all the supported logging formats based on the ingest processors.
